June 9 - Added helmet links for NFL. Only Buffalo Bills tags have been added. (My instructor for my portfolio class is a Bills fan.)

May 27 - Added Helmet link scroll and accordion pages for each league. Still no helmets!

April 22 - Infinite Helmets launched

Infinite Helmets, a continuation of FH2I (Football Helmets to Infinity) has been approved by my instructor at AIC, (Art Institute of Art). I felt the old site needed to be updated and this is a perfect opportunity for me to do this!

NCAA Finally!

AAFL and UFL Both were supposed to start up this year but their launch has been postponed until 2009. I wonder if these leagues will really get off the ground?

AFA and California These leagues from the late 70's - early 80's are pretty obscure. Any help putting them together would be immensely appreciated!

AIFA, APFL, CIFL, EIFL, Intense, UIF and WIFL
Recent Indoor leagues. Some were already on the FH2I. The NIFL finally folded (I think!) Some teams never took the field but I will have mock ups anyway! The EIFL was a total fiasco but I have some helmets to display regardless!

CHS which is my own version of a Colorado High School Football Helmet Project. This was first implemented on the FH2I but was the most neglected area.

This site does not require a password like the FH2I did.

Chicago Rush alternate helmet unveiled!

The Arena Football League Chicago Rush were sporting a new alternate helmet in their nationally televised game VS. the LA Avengers on May 19. The Rush won the game 72-28. This is the first time the Chicago Rush have worn an alternate helmet, (which is rare in the Arena Football League though alternate uniforms are not), in their eight years in the league. Usually the Rush adorn their navy blue helmets but on this date they showed up with a silver helmet with black facemask and familiar "R" logo but now in black and white.

Arkansas State Indians to be now known as the Red Wolves!

If you didn't know it already the NCAA Sun Belt Arkansas State Indians will be changing their nickname and logo to the more PC-friendly Arkansas State Red Wolves. The only schools left in NCAA FBS that have native- American nicknames are: Central Michigan Chippewas, Florida State Seminoles and Illinois Fightin' Illini. I wonder if these school will ever change their nicknames? Almost 30 years ago Arkansas State wore a logo known as "Jumpin' Joe" on it's red helmets . Jumpin' Joe was first seen in 1957. Between 1980 and 2008, ASU wore various versions of "INDIANS" or "ASU".

This web site is a continuation of a previous web site, the FH2I or Football Helmets to Infinity. Launched in October of 2003, the FH2I ran fluid for a few years but updates became less frequent. Infinite Helmets is devoted to pro football helmet art and design! I have been a fanatic of football logos, colors, stripes, facemasks and uniforms for over 26 years. This site is a work in progress, therefore, not all helmets are represented at this time. This site is best viewed in a 1600 x 1200 resolution in a Firefox or IE 7 browser. Also, JavaScript must be allowed to run the scripts for the helmet link bar and accordions. Copyrighted logos are property of the team, leagues and owners. The majority of images are shown for fun, info and reference! If images are of my own design they will be indicated as such. I am not affiliated with any of the teams on this site.
